Kathleen Gaffney Prize
Kathleen Gaffney was a friend, mentor, and colleague to many energy and climate professionals across the world. Kathleen’s career was focused on advancing the global energy transition, where she worked tirelessly across multiple organisations, inspiring many along the way.
To commemorate Kathleen Gaffney’s professional legacy, friends and colleagues have established the Kathleen Gaffney Prize to provide development opportunities to young energy evaluation professionals.
The Prize is awarded to young professionals selected for their outstanding research. It places special emphasis on recognizing and promoting the work of women from the Global South. The prize will provide a bursary for travel and accommodation together with a free registration for the winners to attend and present at the European event.
